Who we are
With exploits you will work with a proven marketing innovation team. Steve Markwell, who leads the programme, has over 30 years marketing and senior management experience. He’s made news running companies for Procter and Gamble, Playtex, Ray-Ban and Remington.
Steve was responsible for the introduction of Pampers disposable nappies in the Netherlands. The product was already a huge success in the US, but faced a real challenge in Holland where cloth nappies were the automatic choice. The innovative answer was to get samples of Pampers to mothers before baby was born, and to get doctors, nurses and maternity homes to use the brand.
Steve also led the revival of Ray-Ban sunglasses in the face of competition from designer brands. Insight showed that consumers were buying sunglasses not only to shield their eyes from the sun but also to make a style statement. The innovation was to take Ray-Ban into a new era of urban styling. Ray-Ban leapt forward, without losing quality or consumer loyalty.
exploits has worked with a range of small and large companies helping them find workable innovation. Karen Shepherd, Head of Remington European Hair Care business, said after her team had worked with exploits:
"Finally a breath of fresh air in new ideas. Not just another innovation seminar. Steve’s input helped us come up with ideas and perspectives that really helped the business and made us look good with our Management!"
