In the battle to secure better and better candidates, Pursuit NHA has developed a tool which enables candidates to get a real understanding of the role they will be undertaking.  We all know a picture paints a thousand words – our video paints a lot more.  The ‘Day in a Life’ Video is a 10 minute film, a fly on the wall documentary about what it takes to do the job and what the job content is.  Candidates get to meet the main characters they will be working with and an understand of the environment they will be working in.

The feedback from candidates who have experienced a process including the ‘Day in a Life’ Video has been outstanding.  Not only have they been impressed that the organisation has invested the time and the effort into producing a high quality film, but having a clearer understanding of the job (more than a mere briefing or paper could ever give them) has spurred them on to really desire the role. 

We have found that candidates who see the video are more committed and therefore less likely to drop out at final stages.
