Following a highly successful Training Programme with a US based luxury gift manufacturer, Pursuit NHA was recently asked to recruit a General Manager to manage its European business. The role involved direct responsibility for sales in existing and emerging markets, as well as dotted line responsibility for all European operational functions.
PNHA compiled the target list of companies in partnership with the client and conducted an extensive search, resulting in a long-list of on-profile candidates. These candidates were interviewed using structured questions aligned to the client business’s competencies arriving at a short-list of 6 candidates which the client interviewed. Three candidates were progressed and were tested in verbal and numerical skills as well as psychometric testing – the Occupational Personality Questionnaire and Insights Discovery.
A final stage interview was designed by Pursuit NHA, including an analytical presentation. From the three shortlist candidates, two were identified by the client as being able to do the job. Pursuit NHA successfully negotiated the remuneration package with the chosen candidate, who is looking forward to starting his new role.
